This fellow here, Alex “Ace of Spades” Hope, managed to tally up a £203,948 tab at the Playground night club in Liverpool. Granted, £125,000 of that was for a single 30-liter bottle of champagne (though I don’t know if that makes it better or worse).
The tip? Only £18,540 – or roughly $3 Bumblejillion USD. What a cheapskate! Yeesh!

Back in Wheel of Fortune’s early days, on their extended dinner breaks it seems Pat Sajak and Vanna White would hit a Mexican place across from the studio and knock back margaritas until they’d “have trouble recognizing the alphabet.” We’d love to see some tapes of those episodes.
