It’s like drinking a liquid maggot
That is the grossest looking drink ever. WTF is it?
It was on The Daily What. The basic shot is apparently called a Brain Haemorrhage (this one here was described as an Alien Brain Haemorrhage, apparently due to the addition of blue Curacao to the basic ingredients of a dram of clear liquor, a couple teaspoonfuls of Bailey’s and a few drops of grenadine. Blech. A bartender I knew had a similar concoction called a Dirty Bongwater that involved Malibu and some raspberry liqueur as well as the above and came looking, well, remarkably realistic.

How did the Dirty Bongwater taste? Hopefully better than it looked.
Well, as someone who has unfortunately tasted the real deal once or twice (by accident – I never fell for the “drink the water, dude, it’ll get you really high” trick), I can attest the DB mixed drink tasted different than that … But its main appeal was the appearance. Kinda like the ABH shot above.
Sauce says –
1 peach schnapps
1 tsp Bailey’s® Irish cream
2 drops grenadine syrup
Pour the peach schnapps into a shot glass. Slowly add the Bailey’s, top with the grenadine, and serve.

The Bailey’s floats on the Schnapps, the grenadine sinks below them both – whilst sinking, the grenadine drags down the Bailey’s, creating the strands in the middle.
I think it’s the brain hemorrhage, bailey’s, cherry liquor, and grenadine.
Tastes pretty good actually
If I had to guess…
Creme de soemthing, Maybe banana
Blue Curacao
Vodka
Grenadine
And they pushed a straw though it to get the lines in the vodka.
Noooo idea what that would be though. My booze fu has failed me.

That looks like a Brain Hemorrhage. They look gross but they friggin’ delicious. I drank a bunch on my 21st birthday they taste like candy… I don’t remember much of the night.
It looks like what happens when you mix red bull and milk. Disgusting.
